AirBnB in Pahoa Hawaii - Adam Appel - Beware
- Adam Appel has had to settle with Alaska's Elder Fraud division which court documents indicate was for stealing hundreds of thouands of dollars from his own mother. Adam Appel apparently used the money to purchase large acreages in Hawaii, high end vehicles, and lived a life of apparent leisure. Adam Appel settled for under $200k and shortly thereafter purchased the AirBnB property while running a street medic non-profit.
- Adam Appel previously claimed to have a non-profit called the "American Search Foundation" for which the Hawaii Attorney General's office issued a "cease and desist" for falsely claiming to be a tax deductible organization.
- Adam Appel and his wife Michelle ran a children's bouncy rental business in Anchorage named For Fun Alaska. News sources indicate that Adam Appel's business had a strange enough loss that the story found it's way into syndicated news.
- There is some evidence that Adam Appel may have allegedly possessed and transported a weapon in an illegal manner from Alaska to Hawaii
- Adam Appel runs a Street Medic non-profit that seeks funds online under the guise of being a certified EMT but Adam Appel apparently wasn't licensed as an EMT in either Alaska or Hawaii.
- Adam Appel first came into focus as a result of a Stolen Valor investigation as Adam Appel was falsely claiming to be a fully qualified member of the U.S. Army Special Forces that had been wounded by a sniper in Afghanstan. None of these claims are true. Evidence points to Adam Appel having made these false claims.
Adam Appel also appears to have claimed to have been hit by IEDs.
So, beware!
Of course, we will pledge to publish any response directly attributable to Adam Appel in full and without editing.
